When We Are Closed

If you wish to contact a doctor or community nurse urgently, phone 111. A recorded telephone message provides this information when the surgery is closed.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Easter Bank Holiday - Stokewood and Old Anchor CLOSED


Stokewood and Old Anchor Surgery will be closed on Friday 3rd April 2026 to Monday 6th April 2026 for the Easter Bank Holiday.

Both surgeries will re-open on Tuesday 7th April 2026 @ 07:30am.

eConsult will be off from Thursday 2nd April at 6:30pm and will be back on Tuesday 7th April at 8:00am.

The Extended Hours service is CLOSED Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April, but will be OPEN on Saturday 4th April as usual.
