Stool Tests can be taken in 2 ways: The first can be taken with one of our specimen pots (you can collect this at the front desk at Stokewood Surgery), the second is a FIT (Faecal Immunochemical Test).
A GP will request either test, they will let you know which one to use.
You can request the results of the test around 1 week after the test was given.
We do not contact you if the sample is normal, we would only contact you if further action were needed.
